Why it is not easy to be ethical?

hi
At the out set I shall put one question to start the ball rolling.
Why it is not easy to be ethical?

We are like Duryodhan (I am sorry not actually),in the battle field who confess like this

"janami dhrmam,na cha me pravruti,
janami adhrmam na cha me nivruti"

which states

" I am aware and know what is good (ethical),but I can not do it. I am also aware about what is wrong (unethical), but I can not restrain myself from doing the same"

Any answers?

Amit

there were no training to change your attitude . change in attitude always depended on accident or an incidence unlike it is a series of incidences integratedly called as training having a focus to change somebody. Where as it was difficult to in those times because it was convinient for others you remaining in the same role becoming more predictable. it was also a comfort zone ( the so called role given by God) created by individual accepting its all drawback and having inertia to come from the role .

  2. hi
Here are some of the reasons ,why it is difficult to be ethical?
1)We have stop listening to inner voice
    2) We are not ready to face consequences of being ethical ie lack courage of conviction
3)We want to live lavishly and can not sustain on moderate living standards
4)May be child hood and surrounding effects
5)There is no personal gain in being ethical
6)on the other hand, there are all chances of swimming against the tide
7)Unethical groups are highly united where as ethical one stands alone

Nevertheless,as we have seen if we start people will come and join

I am not sure. However,Duryodhan was more under influence of ego rather than greed
